ISSN Online
An ISSN Online (e-ISSN) is a unique identifier assigned to the digital version of a serial publication, such as an online journal, e-magazine, or digital periodical. It serves the same purpose as the traditional print ISSN but specifically for content published in electronic formats. The e-ISSN ensures proper identification, indexing, and citation of digital serials, making it easier to track and access online content. The process to obtain an e-ISSN is similar to the print version, with applications submitted to the appropriate ISSN National Center. The e-ISSN is used to distinguish the digital version from its print counterpart, ensuring clarity and consistency in digital scholarly communication.
