Abhip is a graduate of Northeastern University with global experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality control. He's led cross-functional teams in the automotive, medical device, and refrigeration industries. His software skills include Creo/PRO-E, AutoCAD, SIMIO, SAP, Lingo, IOR, Minitab and MS VBA. Having grown up in a business savvy environment in Gujarat, India, he’s launched several ventures of his own and enjoys networking with other entrepreneurial minded individuals. Abhip Chawda is an accomplished Quality Engineer with a strong background in process improvement, quality management, and regulatory compliance, possessing extensive experience in industries such as medical devices and automotive manufacturing. With a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, he has developed expertise in methodologies like 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, DMAIC, A3, and Four Blocker, along with proficiency in quality tools such as Gage R&R, MSA, SPC, and software including MS Excel (VBA), Simio, Minitab, Tableau, and Master Control. Currently serving as a Quality Management Systems Administrator at Sensitech Inc., Abhip plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO and cGMP regulations, supporting certification audits, managing supplier audits, overseeing internal quality auditing programs, and maintaining KPI metrics to enhance quality assurance operations. His ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions has been instrumental in improving regulatory adherence and operational efficiency. Prior to this, he worked as a Quality Engineer at Cirtec Medical, where he focused on investigating process inefficiencies, reducing scrap and rework, optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing real-time Statistical Process Control, and collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve technical and quality issues. His tenure at Tegra Medical as a Quality Engineering Co-op further honed his skills in quality investigations, validation studies, FMEA, control plans, and internal ISO audits. Before transitioning to the U.S., Abhip worked at Applied Auto Parts in India as a Quality Engineer, where he conducted inspections, managed Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects, led tooling and fixture teams, and ensured compliance with ISO 16949:2008 standards. His ability to drive quality improvements, enhance process efficiencies, and align engineering and operational goals demonstrates his strong leadership and technical acumen. With expertise in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous process optimization, Abhip brings a results-oriented approach to quality engineering, ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining compliance with stringent industry standards.
