Ph.D. research as a Senior Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant in the Dept. of EE at NIT Durgapur, with previous experience as a Project Associate-I at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, contributing to Industry 4.0 and AI-based industrial research projects. Research interests include Renewable Energy Systems, Offshore & Onshore Wind Energy, Hybrid Offshore Wind–Solar PV Systems, Smart Grid Technologies, Power Systems, AI/ML-based Energy Modeling, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. Current doctoral research focuses on “Collection System Design for Hybrid Offshore Wind Solar-PV Power Plants” under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Paul and co-supervision of Prof. Arvind Keprate. Experienced in Electrical Diagnostics, Industrial Automation, PLC/HMI Programming, Embedded Systems, Electrical Panel Design, and Hardware Integration for Industry 4.0 applications. Actively involved in academic and laboratory activities as a Teaching Assistant, Practical Demonstrator, Lab Instructor, and Examination Invigilator. Published research contributions in reputed international journals and IEEE conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and IEEE 15th International Conference on PEDS 2025, Penang, Malaysia. Also serving as a reviewer for international journals such as the American Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems and International Journal of Scientific Development and Research, supporting scholarly research quality and publication standards.

Experience
Ph.D. Research Scholar - Junior Research Fellow
Currently working as a Ph.D. Research Scholar and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering. My research focuses on renewable energy systems, particularly offshore and onshore wind energy, hybrid offshore wind–solar PV power plants, power systems, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)-enabled smart energy technologies. My Ph.D. research title is “Collection System Design for Hybrid Offshore Wind Solar-PV Power Plants” Under the Supervision of Dr. Santanu Paul, Assistant Professor (Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur) and Prof. Arvind Keprate, Professor (Department of Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering, Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo, Norway). Along with research activities, I actively serve as a Teaching Assistant, Practical Demonstrator, Lab Instructor, and Examination Invigilator for undergraduate laboratory and academic activities. I am passionate about renewable energy and wind energy technologies, with expertise in AI-based energy modeling, electrical diagnostics, and hardware integration for Industry 4.0 applications.
Project Associate I
An Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)-based control system uses Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to communicate over distributed devices over the internet. This system offers automation, control, ease of operation, and a fast network. A typical IIoT-based control system includes a industry automation. The system is controlled through an online IoT platform called IIoT Smart Controller, which provides a secure way to build IoT solutions.
Project Associate I
In overseeing the project focused on developing an AI-based methodology for grading machine-harvested tea leaves, I diligently maintained tactical control over project budgets and timelines, ensuring teams remained focused and met schedule targets. I played a pivotal role in establishing quality standards, crafting checklists, report templates, and implementing efficient processes to streamline project workflows. Collaborating closely with project team members, I actively participated in identifying and promptly addressing any challenges that arose, fostering a proactive and collaborative environment. This comprehensive approach not only ensured the successful execution of the project but also contributed to the development of innovative solutions for enhancing the grading process of machine-harvested tea leaves through artificial intelligence.
