Abstract

Association of inflammation with symptoms that are commonly shared between psychiatric disorders may help to explain the apparent trans-diagnostic effect of inflammation, which is associated with depression, schizophrenia and other disorders. Schizophrenia include diverse symptoms, but the relationship between inflammatory markers and specific psychotic symptoms has not been examined.
