Founder and Director

• Psychopedia is a psychology-training institute, the first in Chandigarh, where psychology is taught through various workshops from art therapy to dance to reiki. The aim of Psychopedia is to learn, train, and heal. Their focus is on teaching age groups between 16 and 30, and when they conduct workshops, they cater to children as well as parents. “We are our students’ counselor, teacher, and mentor. We aren’t focused on just book-based learning but we also teach them a lot about life, how to stay positive and optimistic and how to be kind and empathic towards others. So we focus on the emotional too,” she says. The ride has not been easy, and there were times when Aashna wanted to quit and take up a job just for the security. The initial four months were a real struggle as there were hardly any takers for the courses and people did not know about Psychopedia.

• started Psychopedia a Psychology Coaching Institute in 2015, when I was just 23. over the years we have done a lot in the field of Psychology as teachers & mentors. We made sure to create a safe space for our students. Forward to 2022, we know how the pandemic affected our mental health but it wasn’t just the pandemic, it’s our everyday life, we struggle in. The whole purpose of building “The Mental Health World” is to come together and care for our mental health & help each other in process.

• In my role as a School Counsellor and Mental Health Counsellor at Learning Paths School in Mohali, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for students. I provide guidance to students on academic, personal, and emotional challenges, promoting their overall well-being. Implementing mental health initiatives, I collaborate with educators and parents to create a holistic approach to student development. By offering counseling services and organizing awareness programs, I contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture. My focus is on empowering students to navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive academically and emotionally in their educational journey.
