Abstract

Financial inclusion offers everyone useful and affordable financial services and products to strengthen their economic lives. However, it is sensitive to many factors. This research sought to investigate the factors that influence financial inclusion in the YSR Kadapa district. Data were collected from bank customers via convenience sampling. A structured questionnaire was adopted to obtain responses. This study used a descriptive research design. For the data analysis, factor analysis and multiple regression models were adopted. The findings reveal that financial regulatory infrastructure, economic and geographical conditions, product availability, and policy and advocacy have shown positive relation in access to financial services; In contrast, technological infrastructure, cultural and social norms, financial literacy gaps, and institutional constraints were found to be negatively influenced access to financial services. Hence, the concerned authorities must develop tailored financial products and services for rapid and inclusive economic growth; this may trigger more equitable geographical regional development.
