Abstract

Here's an abstract based on the provided document content: --- **Abstract** This study assesses the water quality of wastewater from wards 5, 6, and 7 of Jagdalpur City before discharging into the Indravati River. Various parameters including temperature, pH, total solids, volatile solids, fixed solids, suspended solids, dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and ammoniacal nitrogen were measured. Results indicated significant organic pollution, with BOD, COD, and ammoniacal nitrogen levels exceeding Indian standards for wastewater discharge. The findings highlight the need for wastewater treatment to meet permissible limits before environmental release. ---
