Nobody has done more to question the academic study of pornography across various disciplinary boundaries than Alan McKee. In this interview, McKee discusses his background and motivations, and answers questions about common discourses around porn, porn’s pleasures and dangers, the history and development of porn research, working across disciplines, porn literacy and sexual health.
