Microcontroller Based IDMT Overcurrent Relay
Protective relaying is one of the important features of any power system design. Our project makes use of a protective relay which is an automatic device which senses an abnormal condition like over current in an electric circuit and closes its contacts and disconnects the circuit thereby reducing any damage. Our project designs an over current relay using Microcontroller PIC16F73. The hardware includes design and construction of a Single Sided PCB using PIC16F73, IC 4511, LED, Seven Segment Displays, toggle switches, resistors. The PcB design is done using the software Express PCB. Software programming is done using MPLAB Simulator 5.4. The project work was undertaken at larsen & toubRo lIMITED, Mysore.
APC R2R iLoop2.x Enhancements II
The goal of the project is to enhance the APC R2R iLoop2.x System. The enhancement is in the area of semiconductor manufacturing. In the factory, a Wafer in a LOT goes through a lot of manufacturing processes. There are lots of equipment or tools with the help of which software systems collect various measurement data during each of these manufacturing process or steps. R2R (Run2Run) is the standard software for Advanced Process Control (APC) used almost at all Process Control Departments & FABS for semiconductor manufacturing. Software programming is done using TCL. The project work was undertaken at larsen & TOUBRO INFOTECH LIMITED, Mysore.
