Dr. Manisha Agrawal is a distinguished academician and researcher in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, currently serving as Dean of Research & Development and Professor at Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai. Her extensive contributions include authoring technical books for undergraduate students under AICTE, New Delhi, and translating technical books for Hindi-speaking audiences. She has received grants for international conferences and the Innovative Ambassador Award from MoE Innovation Cell and AICTE. Dr. Agrawal is recognized for her national-level roles, including coordinating University Human Values Program under AICTE and advising on Scopus Indexed International Conferences. Her research focuses on Green Synthesis and Wastewater Recycling, supported by numerous government-funded projects and workshops.

Almost food packaging polymers are non biodegradable in nature. After use it causes severe environmental problem. Another drawback is of its microbial activity, as can microbes grow easily in that, thus food get toxic for health. Aim of the investigation is to provide an alternative food packaging material which may be biodegradable and may have antimicrobial properties so that shelf life of packed food may get increased.
