The Discipline of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences since its inception in 2006 is committed to excellence in teaching and research in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Later, the chemical engineering department was established in 2016. Th engineering department was established in 2016. The discipline houses more than 100 dynamic and dedicated faculties from premier institutes like IITs, NITs, CSIR labs and foreign Universities having remarkable research tracks. It is equipped with research laboratories and high-end instrument facilities and covers a wide spectrum of research such as laser-plasma interaction, ab initio calculations, topology, rheology of complex systems, nanomedicine, green chemistry etc. To become the globally recognized discipline of science and chemical engineering nurturing professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs through virtuous academics and innovations. To impart knowledge and skills through experiential training with a focus on outcome-based learning. To establish synergistic connect between Academia and Industry for designing and delivery of curriculum. To build the infrastructure enabling research to solve societal problems.
