The Institution is recognized under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956, conducting a full range of academic activities in the field of Engineering and Management education covering research, teaching, training, consulting, and intellectual infrastructure development. The focus is on holistic development of students by adopting the most innovative and creative dimension to impart quality education and employability skills. The institution presently offers eight Engineering Undergraduate (Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Medical, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical) and three Post Graduate courses (M.Tech (Structures), MBA, MCA) also other Undergraduate Programmes like BBA, BCA, B.Com for graduates of various disciplines. With Seven departments recognized by VTU as research centres and state of art facilities for doing quality research, the college is one of the most preferred places for doing research and doctoral programmes by academicians and research scholars in North Karnataka. Research is the cente0r of locus for Intellectual growth-with this motto in mind; the college has formed the Research and Development Council (RDC), which encourages the students and faculty to undertake research projects. The RDC funds the appropriate projects to ensure that the students and faculties are engaged in quality research which ensures exponential career growth. By joining the bandwagon of KLE Technological University, we have the access to STAR-Labs (Science & Technology Advanced Research Canters). These centres drive internationally competitive, leading-edge, high-impact, collaborative research in strategic areas to propel KLE Tech to Preeminent research-intensive university status by 2030.
