“Shri Chintamani Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’ was established in the year 1998 by Late Principal Vasantrao L.Dontulwar . The dream of president Late Vasantrao L. Dontulwar who stood for the transmission of higher education in the rural and tribal ar ion of higher education in the rural and tribal area stands today as living epitome of the realization of the dream. Shri Chintamani Arts and Commerce college Ghugus was established in 1999 with the aim of dissemination of higher education in this socially and economically backward rural and tribal area of Chandrapur district. Under the direction of the present dynamic Secretary of the society and a dedicated group of individuals always put their efforts to impart quality education. Shri Chintamani arts and Commerce C ollege Ghugus was established in 1999 at Ghugus ,which was affiliated by R.T.M Nagpur University. Present the college affiliated by Gondwana University, Gadchiroli after its establishment in 2012 in Gadhchiroli. A renowned family consisting of a philanthropist ,a social reformer and highly personalities were responsible in giving birth to the Shri Chintamani Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Ballarpur.it was long dreams come true for the family to establish educational institution at the place which is around 25 km from the district headquarter. This Society was formed by Late Shri. Vasantrao L. Dontulwar Late Shri. Vasant Dontulwar was born on 8th of August 1945. He did his schooling in Deolmari Distt: Gadchiroli. Maharashtra. He got his Graduate's Degree from Janta College Chandrapur, and after a year he joined as a Lecturer in M.J.F College Ballarpur. “The vision of the institution intends to fulfill requirement of higher education in rural area through the development of knowledge ,skills and abilities in young generation to be successful in this competitive world”The institution works for the fulfillment of the poor girls students efficiency in rural area”. “The mission of our institution is to realize the above vision by providing platform to the students for inculcation of knowledge, skill and abilities with academic development to create wisdom.” The institution will spend every effort to have the above vision and mission through the achieving the following goals. Provide and up to date, stimulating and effective learning in basic education for the students. Provide students with essential and sufficient background in basic education as required by their departments. To encourage the students to attain graduation degree.
