About Dr. Besagarahalli Ramanna Foundation
Dr. Besagarahalli Ramanna's life spanned beyond the field of medicine and literature into the fields of social, political, people's movements, environmental protection and other popular concerns. Neglected rural life, disintegrating social structures ected rural life, disintegrating social structures, disaffected youth and their shattering dreams, barren greenery and dwindling resources have always created angst among them. The chirping of birds in the green fields, orchards, forests….pee…. He was seeing a rich dream that resonated with music. Ramanna, who read the best literature of the world and searched for the humane cells there, loved the land of Mandya immensely. Ramanna, who believed that Mandya is my India, was filled with the aroma of Mandya district, the unique smell of the soil, the symphony emerging from the culture, and the vastness of the people's hearts. He was also able to understand the brutality of the people there, the hasty life that has surrendered to modernity, and the pangs of casteism that swallows humanity. He had prepared the art of making them a story. Ramanna, who came from rural Uribisil, sought the moon. Ramanna, who spent most of his medical career in the rural areas of Mandya, was immersed in the life of that district. He was also known throughout the country for his rare storytelling skills. He touched the hearts of his friends. Through his gentleness, simplicity and warm friendship, he built a circle of friends all over the country. Ramanna was a member of the team of doctors organized by the World Health Organization to eradicate the smallpox outbreak in Bihar. While working in the government, he declared his support for the rebel literary organization and mingled with the youth representatives of that movement and started humanitarian springs. In the village environment like Kodiyala, he grew trees and saw success in the experiment of sprouting green. Ramanna was a rare emotional being who always raged with burning anger against social inequality, exploitation and cultural oppression. There was no logic to his thoughts. It was formed on the foundation of humanity. Such a rare personality Ramanna left this world carrying many dreams. With a mission to continue the many works he had started and expand his ambitions, Dr. Besagarahalli Ramanna Pratishthan is based. With the wishes and guidance of all popular minds of the country, it hopes to reach and expand the goals it has set.
