Abstract
The significance of traffic microsimulation models and their applications in transportation planning and engineering are discussed at the outset of the article. The essential elements of traffic microsimulation models for unsignalized intersections, including vehicle behavior, driver behavior, intersection design, and traffic flow, are then covered in depth in the article. These models' advantages and disadvantages are thoroughly addressed, with particular emphasis on how well they can depict the dynamic interactions between vehicles and drivers at unsignalized junctions.Future research directions in the area of traffic microsimulation models for unsignalized crossings are discussed in the article's conclusion. The report specifically underlines the necessity for additional study on the calibration and validation of these models as well as the creation of more precise and trustworthy models that can be utilized to raise the security and effectiveness of unsignalized junctions.
