Abstract
This study explores how immersive technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and data analytics are being integrated into tourism education at universities across Southeast Asia. Using a case analysis approach, it examines the application of virtual expeditions, digital storytelling, e-learning platforms, and simulations to enhance student engagement and industry readiness. The findings highlight both opportunities and challenges in implementing these technologies, emphasizing the need for strategic curriculum development, faculty training, and industry collaboration to align education with evolving tourism sector demands.
