Abstract

A sustainable supply chain fully integrates ethical and environmentally friendly practices into a model geared towards competitiveness and success. End-to-end transparency is essential and sustainability initiatives must extend from the sourcing of raw materials to the last mile, and even to product returns and recycling processes. Digital transformation and increasingly sophisticated digital supply chain technologies are key to improving supply chain sustainability. Big data management, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and security tools, such as blockchain and RFID sensors, have brought unprecedented visibility and transparency to modern supply chains. Companies are now more able and obliged to demonstrate social responsibility and share best practices in green supply chain and sustainable logistics. « Safran Tunisia », which continues to work towards an innovative and technological future in the field of the aeronautical industry in order to meet the requirements of the future, has succeeded in bringing together the players in the ecosystem, inspiring thanks to feedback from experts and stimulating reflection around the supply chain theme.
