Soil stabilization using pine needles reveiw

Abstract

A great interest in the research of naturally available materials had been evoked due to the lack of resources that are environment friendly. Randomly distributed fibre reinforced soils have recently been a source of attraction for Engineers. The present work emphasizes on soil stabilization using pine needles. The pine needles are available as scrap material in abundance and therefore can be used for soil stabilization purpose taking into account both cost as well as easy availability of material. This paper is the partial part of the ongoing research work.
