Abstract
The increasing deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) within public sector decision-making introduces profound ethical challenges and governance concerns. This paper critically investigates these issues from the perspective, analyzing the ethical dimensions and evaluating emerging governance frameworks. The study synthesizes insights from literature, highlighting best practices and identifying critical gaps in the regulation of AI systems. A proposed model for ethical AI governance tailored to public administration is presented. Our analysis underscores the urgency for transparent, accountable, and participatory governance structures to ensure responsible AI deployment.
