Primary Health Care (PHC) is an effective and equitable healthcare system, aiming to provide accessible, affordable, and community-based health services. Homoeopathy, under India's AYUSH framework, has emerged as an important complementary healthcare system contributing to preventive, promotive, and curative care. This article explores the role of Homoeopathy in strengthening PHC and describes the scope, benefits, and challenges of its integration into mainstream healthcare services. Homoeopathy offers a holistic and individualized approach to patient care in public settingand is widely utilized due to its affordability, accessibility, and acceptability among the population. Its potential role in disease prevention, management of common ailments, maternal and child healthcare, and community health promotion makes it important for PHC objectives. Integration of Homoeopathy with conventional medicine may enhances healthcare accessibility, address shortages of healthcare professionals, improve patient satisfaction, and support cost-effective service delivery. In conclusion, Homoeopathy has the potential to contribute largely to Primary Health Care by providing affordable, patient-centered, and holistic healthcare services. With appropriate policy support by the government of India, research advancement, and stakeholder engagement, its integration can support the goals of universal health coverage and sustainable healthcare development in India.
