Abstract

The emergence of disruptive technologies has brought about significant changes in how organizations operate, necessitating a re-evaluationof the socio-technical factors that influence organizational effectiveness. Theprimary objective of the research is to systematically explore and synthesize the factors that impact organizational effectiveness from a socio-technical perspective. This sets the stage for the study's focus on understanding the interplay between social and technological aspects within organizations. The study employed a sequential mixed method research methodology, involving both qualitative and quantitative phases. This comprehensive approach allows for a deeper exploration of the research topic by gathering insights from different angles.Qualitative phase of the study explored the socio-technical factors that are relevant in today's organizational landscape. The quantitative phase involved statistical analysis to examine the impact of socio-technical factors on organizational effectiveness,tools used such as N-Vivo and Amos for data analysis.The study's conclusions offer valuable insights to practitioners and human resources specialists, emphasizing the importance of creating a supportive work environment. This involves nurturing coworker support and supervisory support to establish a positiveatmosphere where employees feel valued, supported, and engaged.The combination of social support, trust-building, and technology-enabled practices can lead to increased employee engagement, satisfaction, and, consequently, improved organizational performance and effectiveness
