Alcohol, Drugs, and STD/HIV Risk among Adolescents

Abstract

High rates of sexual activity among adolescents place them at significant risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV infection. This article summarizes our recent research addressing potential causal relationships between alcohol and drug use and risky sexual behavior.
