AI-Based Legal Assistant

Abstract

The increasing demand for accessible and cost effective legal services has paved the way for intelligent automation in the legal domain. This paper presents an AI-Based Legal Assistant designed to automate key legal tasks such as bond generation, legal query resolution, and document analysis. By integrating advanced natural language processing and deep learning models, the system delivers fast and reliable legal support without the constant need for human intervention. Key modules include a legal chatbot, automated document generator, and intelligent tools like clause similarity detection, risk prediction, and legal insight extraction. Techniques like BERT, LSTM, and FAISS are employed to understand complex legal language and provide contextual responses. The platform aims to reduce the time, cost, and effort typically involved in legal proceedings, making legal services more accessible to a broader audience. This paper details the architecture, methodology, and performance of the proposed system, highlighting its potential to transform traditional legal practices through artificial intelligence.
