Since July 2018, I am working as an Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Technology at the Amity University Gurugram (HR) , India. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Research on Research topic Effect of Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) on Clinical Profile and Health -related Quality of Life in Coronary Heart Disease pa tients with Diabetes Mellitus from Lingaya's Vidyapeeth - Deemed -To-Be University, Faridabad (HR ), India . I was also involved in a collaborative public health awareness program entitled, National Program for Prevention & Eradication of Heart Attack (NPPEHA ) with my Ph.D. mentor Dr. Bimal Chhajer. I am highly motivated to pursue an academic and clinical -research career. I have the expertise and commitment necessary to carry out the proposed clinical re search study with road background in the following areas : (1) Diagnosis, prevention and management of communicable and non -communicable diseases ; (2) Complementary and integrative medicine for the management of lifestyle -related disease; (3) Cardiac prevention and rehabilitation programs; (4) Public health awaren ess programs; (5) Holistic approach with Lifestyle Medicine in the prevent ion and con trol of diabetes, coronary heart disease and communicable diseases . Currently I am teaching subjects related to the diagnosis of metabolic disorders, immunohematology, preventive and social med icine, laboratory management with background knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) , Research methodology , epidemiology and biostatistics including study design, data analysis, and scientific writing. In the past, as a research associate, I performed clinical research studies related to lifestyle -related disorders. I found the various novel and effective ways to prevent, control and treat coronary heart disease patients. I have also worked for more than three years in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in two different clinical research projects sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, New Delhi. In addition to my re search training and experiences, I have acquired leadership and management skills dur ing my tenure as a faculty and PhD P rogramme coordinator in the present organization the Amity Medical School of Amity University Gurugram (HR), India. . I am passionate ab out diagnostics and clinical trial -related studies to cardiovascular and diabetes. Because of this background and experience of productive clinical research, I wish to participate in the proposed research work.
