Dr. T. Thirunahari Ugandhar, an Associate Professor of Botany at Govt Degree College Mahabubabad, recently promoted by CCE, TS, completed his Ph.D. from Kakatiya University at 25. His career began as a Lecturer at C.V. Raman P.G. College and progressed to Assistant Professor at S.R.R. Govt Degree and P.G. College. With 35 research articles, 2 co-authored books, and guidance of 10 M.Phil theses, Dr. Ugandhar specializes in Cytology, Cytogenetics, Genetics, Plant Breeding, and Biotechnology. His achievements include developing new plant varieties through mutation breeding and establishing clonal multiplication of forest trees. He also has a patent pending for Tassar Silk Plant propagation.
