A study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness at binding site by confirming its lowest energy state.
Pharmacognostic and phytochemical studies on E.axillare
A similar project was undertaken to isolate biomolecules from Enicostema axillare whole plant. I isolated Swertisin, Isoswertisin and other compounds utilizing column chromatography. And evaluated the compounds utilizing NMR, LCMS, FT-IR, HPLC and GC. The resultant compounds Swertisin and Isoswertisin were evaluated for anti-tyrosinase activity.
Pharmacognostic and phytochemical studies on A. salvifolium stem bark
A project was undertaken to isolate biomolecules from Alangium salvifolium's stem bark utilizing column chromatography. The obtained biomolecules were characterized using NMR, LCMS, FT-IR, HPLC and GC. The isolated biomolecules were identified as stigmasterol, stigmasterol-3-O- - D- glucoside, fructose and rutin.
Synthesis of novel chalcone triazoles
The project focuses on synthesizing a new series of chalcone triazole analogues as a single chemical entity by combined synthesis of the pharmacophores chromanes, chalcones and triazoles. The resultant analogues were characterized by NMR, LCMS and were evaluated for in vitro -glucosidase Inhibition and anticancer activities.
