Experience
Research Intern
- As a Researcher at Skeptic India Foundation, my role primarily involves conducting in-depth analysis and critical evaluations of socio-political, cultural, and policy-related issues through a rational and evidence-based lens. I am responsible for gathering and reviewing academic literature, government reports, and credible secondary data to produce well-structured research outputs. My work focuses on fostering critical thinking, addressing misinformation, and promoting awareness on issues concerning science, governance, and society. Alongside independent research, I also contribute to drafting policy briefs, reports, and articles, while engaging in discussions that align with the Foundation’s vision of nurturing a rational, informed, and inclusive public discourse.
Public Policy Research Intern
- During my tenure as a Public Policy Research Intern and Team Leader at the International Institute of SDG’s and Public Policy Research, I conducted extensive research on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), governance frameworks, and pressing socio-economic challenges. My responsibilities included analyzing government reports, policy documents, and international case studies to identify gaps and suggest evidence-based policy interventions. I also prepared research briefs, reports, and presentations to support academic and policy discourse. Leading a team of six members, I was responsible for task delegation, quality assurance, and coordinating discussions to generate innovative policy solutions. This role enabled me to sharpen my skills in academic writing, data interpretation, and policy evaluation, while also strengthening my leadership abilities and capacity to manage collaborative research projects.

Projects
Impact of Urbanization on Street Vendor and Local Businessman
My project on the Impact of Urbanization on Street Vendors and Local Businessmen focused on how rapid urban growth and changing city landscapes affect small-scale livelihoods. It examined challenges such as displacement due to urban planning, rising rents, competition from malls and e-commerce, and stricter regulations on street vending. At the same time, it also explored opportunities created by urbanization, like increased consumer demand, better infrastructure, and digital payment adoption. The study highlighted both the vulnerabilities and adaptive strategies of vendors and local businesses, stressing the need for inclusive urban policies that balance development with the protection of traditional livelihoods.
