Lifecycle Cost Analysis of Road Infrastructure A Case Study of SH-32 and SH-72
Madurai to Tuticorin road (SH-32) and Madurai to Natham road (SH-72) is choosen for the cost analysis. LCCA can be carried out by the economic evaluation methods such as benefit cost ratio method, net present value method, internal rate of return method, EIRR method are carried out to decide the most economical proposal among various alternatives.

The status of ground water quality of Madurai city needs to be monitored which forms the objective of the study. It can be expressed in terms of a consolidated parameter known as Water Quality Index(WQI).
