Mr. Nitinchandra Rameshchandra Patel

I have been working as an Assistant Professor in the G.H.Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), Vallabh Vidyanagar (Dist: Anand), in Mechanical Engineering Department since October 1, 2002. I joined this college as an Adhoc Lecturer on February 18, 2002 and was appointed for the post of Assistant Professor in the same department. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teaching: I have taught different courses- Engineering Graphics, Basic Mechanical Engineering and Machine Drawing, Machine Design and Industrial Drafting, Mechanical Measurements, Materials science and Metallurgy - in theory class as well as practical laboratory. • Course Coordinating: I am also responsible to coordinate with laboratory teachers and other theory teachers for common lecture plan, practical plan and assessment . • Faculty Advising: I attend this duty to provide advises to my allotted group of students to select various courses of programme during registration of every new semester. • Counseling: I give guidance to my allotted group of students related to difficulties in backlog courses, attendance report and internal marks evaluation during the semester. • Supervising: I perform this duty during internal exams and university exams. • Observer: I am appointed as an Observer in different colleges by Gujarat Tec .hnology University, Gandhinagar during external exam. • External Examiner: I am also appointed as an External examiner for viva/ practical evaluation in different colleges by Gujarat Technology University, Gandhinagar during external exam.
