About
Navigating the world of Hydrology!!
I am deeply immersed in the captivating world of Hydrology as I pursue my Ph.D. at the Department of Hydrology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
In the course of my doctoral studies, I am working on developing advanced data-driven models and tools that can significantly improve Hydrologic and Hydrodynamic prediction for hydrologically distinct watersheds across the Indian subcontinents. I am particularly drawn to research projects in Water Resources Engineering, with a focus on Hydrologic and Hydrodynamic Modeling, Rainfall-Runoff Analysis, Risk and Hazard Mapping, and the growing impacts of Climate change. I'm passioned for Academics and Research Field, and I am always eager to collaborate with others who share a similar enthusiasm.
My academic journey has been shaped by valuable experiences. I completed my post-graduation degree in Water Resources Engineering (WRE) from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) in 2019, following an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in 2016. These educational milestones have provided me with a strong foundation and ignited my curiosity to delve deeper into the complexities of water systems.
Life at an Institute of National Importance has been both enriching and challenging. Interact with diverse groups of people and engaging in various research projects has taught me to be adaptable and open to new perspectives. I am grateful for the learning opportunities and chance to grow both professionally and personally.
While my toolbox of skills includes Python, MIKE, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Etabs, Microsoft Office, Strategic Planning, and Public Speaking, I am far from being a master in all of them. I am continuously learning and improving, finding joy in tackling math puzzles and aptitude problems, as well as staying organized to remain productive.
Above all, I am a firm believer in the power of passion and purpose. My experiences have given me a sense of direction, and I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios to make a positive impact in the field of Hydrology. I am always open to exciting opportunities that align with my interests and values, and I look forward to what the future holds in this thrilling and ever-evolving journey.
Let's embark on this fascinating exploration together, as we navigate the wonders of water and strive to create sustainable solutions for the challenges ahead!
