- Biodiversity study (taxonomical, density, forest cover) and herbarium collection of different types of thallophytes, bryophytes, pteridophytes. Documentation of sewage treatment plant technique in and across NRC (North Capital Region). Extraction of DNA and different stages were studied under laboratory consitions.

- Various agriculture techniques used in different cropping systems of India at CSK HPKV Hill Agriculture Research and Extension Centre, Bajaura, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh were studied. M.Sc. Dissertation, (Title: Ecological characterization of plants from alpine region (>4000m), Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh, India) The study of morphology, architecture of plant canopies and pattern of course roots distribution of seabuckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides), Artemisia (Artemisia maritima) and Juniper (Juniperous communis) in the region. Identifying plants properties to combat soil erosion in the area through statistical analysis and laboratory experiments.
Ph.D. Research Scholar
- Thesis title: Conservation and Utilisation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in Dhauladhar mountain range of Himachal Pradesh: Literature review from different internet based and library forums. Identifing the problem and setting objectives for the problem. Preparation of questionnaires (both socio-economic, ethno botanical and ecological). Suitable methodology including sampling analysis, quantification of data and analysis of data through different software SPSS and TWINSPAN. Identifying high density medicinal and aromatic plants regions and mapping through Arc GIS. Evaluating market prices and identifying market value chains. Identifying threatened species and suggesting suitable long term conservation strategies.
Pre Ph.D course work
- The eco development sites identification, mapping and construction, forest plantations and working plan development by forest department. Analysis of Community based programmes (JFM) practice; Silvicultural techniques by the forest department at rural level, Nursery techniques, Watershed management techniques. Conducting Rehabilitated village surveys and coal mines survey. Study and developing a community based survey and interaction with different tribes of Madhya Pradesh (Gond and Bhil tribes). Learning Tiger census techniques; pugmark analysis, transect; sign survey in tiger reserves (Melghat Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra and Pench Tiger Reserve, M.P.).
