About
Mukul Mangla is a seasoned technology leader and AI-driven cybersecurity innovator with more than 12 years of experience spanning enterprise, telecom, retail, and cloud-based ecosystems. He has consistently demonstrated the ability to design and scale secure, intelligent, and resilient digital systems that align with business needs while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards.
Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech, Mukul has played a pivotal role in developing AI-assisted, fault-tolerant backend systems that serve thousands of stores nationwide. His integration of predictive analytics and anomaly detection into backend processes has significantly reduced disruptions and enhanced system uptime. Additionally, his focus on scalable microservices and cloud-native frameworks has improved resilience while fostering innovation among his engineering peers through mentorship in secure coding, AI monitoring, and optimization.
Previously, as an Associate Architect at Ooma Inc., Mukul strengthened enterprise security by designing a Single Sign-On (SSO) system leveraging OAuth, SAML, and IAM. He advanced security measures with AI-assisted behavioral analytics and multi-factor authentication, cutting down both breaches and support tickets. His tenure at T-Mobile as Senior Technical Consultant showcased his ability to blend AI with orchestration microservices, secure JWT authentication, and predictive telemetry pipelines that boosted reliability and reduced downtime.
Earlier roles at AT&T, Infosys, Steelwedge Software, and Sandhata Technologies provided him with a strong foundation in enterprise software engineering, modular application design, and reusable security frameworks. These experiences built the groundwork for his later accomplishments in large-scale AI and cybersecurity-driven projects.
In addition to corporate roles, Mukul has significantly contributed to the academic and innovation landscape. He holds multiple patents in AI-powered cybersecurity devices, including surveillance analysis systems, intrusion detection devices, and USB threat-scanning solutions. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers exploring Zero Trust architectures, privacy-preserving AI, federated learning, blockchain for financial risk assessment, and neuro-symbolic reasoning. His book, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), delves into the convergence of AI, IoT, edge computing, and automation with privacy-centric design.
As a Senior IEEE Member, Mukul continues to contribute to the global technology community by advancing secure and scalable AI-driven systems. With a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, he embodies the blend of practical expertise, innovative research, and leadership required to drive digital transformation securely and intelligently.
