• Responsible to handled fabrication drawing release for tank external and tank internal (Yoke clamp & core structure); ensuring the submission of customer drawing as per specifications. Handling site work design of SLD, Electrical layout, Erection key diagram, equipment BOQ, foundation layout and earthling layout. Maintaining coordination with the production & project team, purchase, site people for site related activity. Holding regular meetings with the teams for various clarifications. Managing calculation for oil and tank weight, stiffener & flitch plate; having discussions with the customer for approval. Actively involved in planning and coordinating production activities and ensure timely availability of raw materials for maintenance and development of dies for manufacturing of the products and Dispatch Plan. Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in various expenditures. Ensuring frequent quality improvements, productivity improvements, setup time reduction, multi machines balancing and actively responsible for meeting day-to-day production target through effective production planning and coordination with various departments. Effectively ensuring materials management and inventory control to maintain smooth flow of materials with minimum inventory holding. Identifying and developing alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials.

Mechanical Design Engineer

• Managed preparation and review of manufacturing drawing and Bill of Material. Handled calculations of tank stiffener, lifting bollard and conservator for transformer assembly; conducted FEA analysis of transformer tank using Pro-Mechanica. Prepared 3D modeling of transformer tank, Radiator bank & pipe work using PRO-E. Involved in preparation of manufacturing drawings and process drawings for all components. Looked after ordering of accessories and dispatch components. Handled project related activities such as machine layout and assembly diagram etc. Accountable for assembly and testing of all components and online modification and updating the design and components. Undertook detail study of various machine parts for better design for manufacture; prepared part modeling, assembly modeling and check manufacturing detail drawings. Coordinated with suppliers during development stage of bought out & manufacturing parts.

M.Sc. Project Trainee

• Involved in preparation of 3D model of transformer tank; handled manipulation in tank based on structural analysis result. Conducted structural analysis of transformer tank using ANSYS and checking of stress and deflection to validate the design.
