Md. Mokshud Ali

I am an Associate Professor of Accounting. An experienced academician with a demonstrated history of serving in the higher education industry. I have been involved in academia for many years, during which time I held different academic and administrative positions. I joined the University of Scholars in December 2023 having previously been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Times University Bangladesh and the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC). I was an adjunct faculty at Presidency University, Dhaka. I have acquired an MPhil. from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. I am an education professional with an MBA (Accounting and Finance) and BBA (Accounting) from Premier University, Chittagong. I am studying in the last semester of the MSS (Economics) program at Jagannath University, Dhaka. I am also enrolled in an online MSc program in Financial Engineering (MScFE) at WorldQuant University, New Orleans, LA, United States of America. I have postgraduate diplomas in Finance and International Accounting (PGDFIA), Finance and Internal Auditing (PGDFIA), Islamic Finance (PGDIFP), Project Management (PGDPMP), Management (PGDM), Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) and Marketing and Brand Management (PGDMBM) from different awarding organizations, which offer international endorsement from the reputed professional bodies for their certifications. I have acquired a professional diploma in Zakat Management. I have achieved a Mini-MBA (Financial Management) program certificate online from the European Institute of Leadership and Management, Dublin, Ireland. I am a Qualified Internal Auditor (QIA), Certified Financial Specialist (CFS), Certified Project Management Analyst (CPMA), Certified Strategic Manager (CSM), Certified in Supply Chain and Marketing (CSCM) and Accredited Project Requirements Analyst (APRA). I have obtained a 4.00 (A+) in all the Accounting courses of my first MBA Program major. I have also acquired a 4.00 (A+) in both the project works in my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I served at Navana Petroleum Limited as a Management Trainee and at RM Interlinings Limited as an Officer in Bangladesh. I dream of making positive changes in society through my activities. I have prepared a research proposal to pursue PhD.
