- Hewlett -Packard mainly provided enterprise servers at the client sites like Banks and other businesses. At Hewlett -Packard, I have received orientation to both administration and critical business as the organizations believes in business through support a lso. Served as UNIX Consultant, the job responsibilities like implementing and managing Tru64 Unix servers. Troubleshooting and maintenance of HP Servers. Escalated system issues from system engineers. We are providing solutions to operating system relate d problems by analyzing "error codes, "error logs" in lab environment. We work with high end production servers starting with Alpha DS series to GS1280 (Wildfire) we often troubleshoot the Tru64 UNIX Clusters. Th e project involved the handling of HPs business critical server, Mission Critical Servers administrations, which include work on Kernel internals and do crash dump analysis.
Product Partner Engineer (Consultant Manager) Storage & NFS
- NetApp being a NAS storage company provides multiple storage system solutions. Played a primary role in Certification - Certifying IBM AIX, HP UX, Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux and Appl e NFS clients to be deployed on NetApp storage and in the development, infrastructure and implementation of associated business solutions. OS Vendor -Worked closely with Redhat and Novel to identify the business needs and formulate solutions by adding new feature to NFS server and clients. Solution Evangelism/ Field Engagement - Evangelized within the Business unit and work with the field to win deals includes resolving technical queries, assist in preparing responses to RFPs, RFIs and RFCs, Customer visits, SE and PSE Trainings. Content creation Authored Technical Reports and White papers (inbound and outbound), Technical and customer presentations, WBT as part of field and internal trainings. Marketing - Drive GTM solutions, tradeshow participations and speaking at various symposiums, webcasts and user groups. Presented at Storage Insight Conference and Foresight webcasts. Competitive - Working in the lab with partners for product tear downs, feature comparisons, benchmarking and demons tration setup development. Product management - Worked with product line management and the field to define feature requirements. Effectively balance technical solutions and business decisions. Manage sales and partner communications.
