Dr. (Er.) Kiran Jalem is a Disaster Management Professional having more than a quarter century of experience, which includes Industrial, Scientific, Research, Engineering, Teaching & Training etc. As an Assistant Professor with Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA), Ranchi, Govt. of Jharkhand under the Non Plan Scheme of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, he had conducted several Training Programs on Disaster Management at SKIPA, Ranchi in collaboration with NIDM, NDMA, MHA, Govt. of India and Govt. of Jharkhand. Also, worked abroad for a year in Gulf, Middle East, Dubai, UAE in Oil Sector. Dr. (Er.) Kiran Jalem worked as an Assistant Professor for three years on deputation from May 2019 to May 2022 with national level apex institute, National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) under Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt. of India. Dr. (Er.) Kiran Jalem is a Trainer on Disaster Management, Trainer on Gender Issues & Gender Budgeting and a Certified Trainer on Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) and Design of Training (DoT) by DoPT, Govt. of India & Thames University, London and an empanelled academic counselor for Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the Programmes, MSCI & PDDM. Dr. (Er.) Kiran Jalem Successfully Completed many Short Course Trainings, Advanced Certificate Courses & DST Sponsored Training Courses etc. during his career.

Acted as Head (I/C) for DGI, CUJ, Ranchi from 21-28 November 2016, 24 February to 2 March 2018 and 10-13 March 2025.
