I have over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, having worked in various roles including Branch Head and Manager in different branches across Tamil Nadu. During my service, I have handled credit management, priority sector lending, and day-to-day branch operations, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.
Through my banking career, I gained practical exposure to the financial needs of rural people and small entrepreneurs. This experience motivated me to pursue research in the area of rural development and banking.
I am pursuing my PhD as part time scholar in Gandhigram Rural Institure with a focus on public sector lending and its impact on sustainable rural entrepreneurship, particularly in Dindigul District. My areas of interest include financial inclusion, rural entrepreneurship, and the role of nationalized banks in economic development.
