Dr. Gururaj H. L. is an esteemed academic and researcher with a distinguished career in the field of computer science and engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Dr. Gururaj has accumulated over 14 years of teaching and research experience, guiding students at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. His academic journey has been marked by excellence, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, which he completed in 2019. He has been recognized for his exceptional project guidance, receiving the Best Project Guide award for four consecutive years (2014-2017) at Malnad College of Engineering. He has also been instrumental in organizing conferences and seminars, securing grants from various Indian governmental bodies such as the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB-DST), CSIR, and AICTE. His leadership extends beyond the classroom as he serves as the Faculty Sponsor of the MITB ACM Student Chapter and the Community Leader of IndiaClouds, a global cloud computing community.
