Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness or farsightedness and primary eye diseases. Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed. Dispensing of visual aids such as optical lenses and contact lenses. Developing store strategies to raise customers pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability. Ensuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service. Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc. Promote eye health by counselling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lenses. Preparing monthly reports. Troubleshoot in case of customer complaint. Giving help and advice for the customers / patients to choose frames and lenses. Offering advice and reassurance about vision related matters.
