Beauty Kumari Shaw is a research scholar at Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is currently working on her thesis that delves into the thematic study of females and their representations in the fiction of Namita Gokhale. Her research areas include Gender and Women’s Studies. Apart from that she has published a paper in a peer-reviewed international journal titled “Gender is Performance: A Critical Study of Mahesh Dattani’s Bravely Fought the Queen and Dance Like A Man”. She also has book reviews, film reviews, and articles for magazines to her name. She has presented several papers now, at IIT Mandi, Pondicherry University, and Banaras Hindu University respectively.
