Designed a Data Warehouse for BITS -Pilani
This project was to design a data warehouse for all BITS branches i.e. Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Dubai. Purpose of this project was to centralize the information of students, courses offered, departments, events, activities from a single branch. Design & Impl ementation of Bits Centralized Data Warehouse Interoperation of 3 (VPN connected) BITS campuses. 1. Slicing / Dicing, Drill -through, Drill across, Role Up. 2. Defining ETL strategies. 3. Implementation of Cube, Dimensional Tables, Bridge tables, Sno w flaking .
Design and implementations of BITS, SDET site for Mobile Handheld
SDET is Software Developme nt & Educational Technology. The Software Development & Educational Technology Unit (SDET Unit) has a mandate to extend its scope of work to include identification, establishment, deployment and evolution of appropriate educational technology in order to s upport effective resource utilization of expertise (teaching / mentoring / collaboration) available at various campuses (both existing and upcoming) as well as enable students and faculty involved in various off -campus work -integrated learning programmers of the Institute.
Hotel Management System (OOAD approach)
Designed a hotel database solution to provide registration, booking, cancellation and transaction management facilities to the database administrator. The text Editor application is a menu driven application that performs text editing operations, such as file, edit and search operations. The file operations include creating new files, opening existing files, saving the files and editing the applications. The edit operations include undo, cut, copy, paste, delete, select all, and set font operations. The search operations include find and find next operations .The Text Editor Application is developed in Java programming language.
