Senior Research Fellow
As an SRF, my role was to take on more advanced stage of my research work. I refine my thesis, deepen my fieldwork, and analyze data with greater independence. I prepare research papers, contribute to academic discussions, and present my work at seminars or conferences. I also guide junior researchers or students when required and assist the department in its academic and research activities. My role focuses on producing solid, original work that strengthens the core arguments of my PhD
Field Investigator
As a Field Investigator CSDS during the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, I was responsible for collecting accurate and unbiased data from selected survey locations. My work involved conducting face-to-face interviews, ensuring proper sampling, recording responses carefully, and maintaining confidentiality and research ethics. I coordinated with the field team, managed logistics in challenging conditions, and ensured timely submission of verified data. This role gave me practical experience in survey research and election studies.
Junior Research Fellow
As a JRF, my role was to carry extensive research, review existing literature, develop and analyze various research designs and methods. Alongside conducting research I would also take part in other departmental activities such as seminars, workshops, teaching and mentoring students. As a member of various committees I would suggest and help in framing syllabus for UG and PG courses.
