Laboratory Technologist (Part-Time)
- Conduct research on various Microbiological analysis and documentation of findings. Coordinate student laboratory practical sessions and supervision of Students project work to ensure their adherence to laboratory safety rules Provision of Laboratory Specimens and setting up of equipment for practical work Conduction of students practical assessment and invigilation of students examinations Preparation of practical manual on Biology and Microbiology courses in accordance to the curriculum and assessment of the student on the subject.
Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES)
- Engaged in the conduction of Medical Laboratory tests such as Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Blood grouping, Pack cell volume (PCV), Stool analysis, Urinalysis, Malaria Tests (MP), WIDAL Test, Pregnancy Test, culture and sensitivity test HBsag Test, RVS Test etc., to diagnose the nature of infection present in patients for effective and accurate prescription by the Medical Doctors
