Dr. Abhinandan Ravsaheb Patil is a Professor at D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur, and
the world and only student to achieve a hat-trick of gold medals in Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D.,
a feat recorded in the International Book of World Records and India Book of Records. He was
awarded the Start-Up Hero of Maharashtra under the Make in India scheme by Hon. Minister
Nitin Gadkariji. He is also the recipient of the Best Outstanding Student Award from across India
by the hands of the Hon. President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, and the Student of the Year
award from the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Trust (2012). He is a TEDx speaker, having
delivered a talk on Tuning of Biological Clock of Students…Need of Time.
His research has led to the discovery of two novel probiotic strains—Lactobacillus
plantarum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus—which exhibit prophylactic action against
gastrointestinal cancer. These discoveries are part of his broader work in pharmaceutical
sciences, natural product development, and holistic wellness. With over 108 publications in high-
impact peer-reviewed journals, 94 patents (85 Indian and 9 International), and 11 books to his
credit, he has made significant contributions to the fields of probiotics, nutraceuticals, and
preventive healthcare.
Dr. Patil is an active member of the World Economic Forum (India Chapter) and UNESCO
Policy Makers India Chapter. He has attended over 181 international and national conferences
across the globe, sharing his research and insights with the global scientific community. His
work bridges pharmaceutical science, psychology, and holistic health, focusing on anti-aging,
cognitive well-being, and accessible healthcare solutions. He is also the founder of the startup
Parshwapath, which develops natural anti-aging nutraceuticals and wellness products.
His current work includes developing sound therapy devices for digital addiction, holistic
cognitive care programs for aging populations, and integrative study techniques for students
using breathing and brain mapping methods. He is deeply committed to making preventive
healthcare accessible to all, combining India rich heritage of natural food and holistic practices
with rigorous modern science
