PERCEPTION, AWARENESS AND BENEFITS OF CHATGPT-AN EMPIRICAL STUDY AMONG GENERATION Z AND MILLENNIALS
Abstract
This empirical study investigates how Millennials and Generation Z view ChatGPT and its advantages. We employed mixed-methods research techniques to gather information about the understanding and usage of ChatGPT among members of these two generational cohorts through surveys and in-depth interviews. Our research shows that while both generations are generally aware of ChatGPT, Millennials have a greater degree of familiarity with the platform since they have had more time to experience its benefits. Although they are also informed, Generation Z exhibits a more critical attitude towards AI technologies, frequently concentrating on useful uses and moral issues.

Relevance and Originality
The study addresses a timely and relevant topic by exploring how Millennials and Generation Z perceive ChatGPT and its advantages. This focus on generational differences in attitudes toward AI technologies adds originality to the research, providing insights that can inform marketing and technology development strategies.
Methodology
The use of mixed-methods research techniques, combining surveys and in-depth interviews, is effective for gathering nuanced data about the understanding and usage of ChatGPT among both generational cohorts. However, it would be beneficial to clarify the sample size and selection criteria to assess the generalizability of the findings.
Validity & Reliability
While the study presents findings based on empirical data, further detail on the validation methods used for the surveys and interviews would strengthen the reliability of the results. Discussing how the data collection processes were standardized can enhance confidence in the findings and their applicability across different contexts.
Clarity and Structure
The summary clearly outlines the study's aims and findings, effectively conveying the differences in familiarity and attitudes between the two generations. However, a more structured presentation with distinct sections for methodology, results, and conclusions would improve overall clarity and help readers follow the argument more easily.
Result Analysis
The findings indicate that Millennials are more familiar with ChatGPT while Generation Z takes a more critical stance on AI. Expanding on the implications of these attitudes—such as how they might influence technology adoption or marketing strategies—would provide deeper insights. Additionally, highlighting specific examples of the useful applications and ethical concerns raised by Generation Z could enhance the discussion.
