Paralysis Patient Health Monitoring System Using Embedded and IoT Technologies
Abstract
In today’s world many people are suffering from physical disabilities due to paralysis or some accidental problem. Most of these patients are dependent on care taker. Paralysis is a condition in which there is an impairment of one or more muscles in body. In order to assist these patients’ microcontroller- based circuitry plays major role in system. Sometime appliances are also controlled by patient’s hand motion. This system also monitors patient’s heartbeat, if it is exceeds normal value then buzzer will be activated and message will be shown on LCD to doctors and caretakers to attend patient.

Relevance and Originality:
The Research Article addresses a crucial issue by focusing on assisting patients with physical disabilities, specifically those suffering from paralysis. The use of microcontroller-based circuitry to enhance patient care and monitor vital signs is both relevant and original, reflecting a practical application of technology to improve the quality of life for individuals with severe physical impairments.
Methodology:
The abstract provides a basic overview of the system's functionality but lacks detailed information on the methodology. There is no mention of how the microcontroller-based circuitry was designed, the specific technologies used, or how the system's components were integrated and tested. Additional details on these aspects would be necessary to assess the effectiveness and design of the proposed system.
Validity & Reliability:
The abstract does not offer information on how the system's validity and reliability were evaluated. There is no mention of testing procedures, validation methods, or measures taken to ensure the system performs accurately and consistently in real-world scenarios. Including such details would help in evaluating the robustness and dependability of the system.
Clarity and Structure:
The abstract is clear in describing the system's purpose and functionality, including its ability to monitor heartbeats and alert caretakers if necessary. However, it could benefit from a more structured presentation, including specific details on the system's design, implementation, and testing. This would enhance understanding and provide a more comprehensive overview of the research.
Result Analysis:
The abstract does not provide specific results or data on the system's performance. While it mentions the functionality of monitoring heartbeats and activating alerts, there are no details on the accuracy, response time, or effectiveness of these features. Including results from testing or case studies would strengthen the result analysis and demonstrate the system’s practical benefits.
