Relevance and Originality:
The study explores an important economic issue by examining entrepreneurship as a source of employment growth in Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu. By focusing on Diploma students, the research addresses a unique and understudied segment, contributing to the ongoing discourse on whether entrepreneurs are born or made. However, while the study highlights an important gap, further justification regarding its novelty in comparison to existing literature could strengthen its contribution.
Methodology:
The study relies on a literature review to identify the factors influencing entrepreneurial orientation among Diploma students. While this approach provides a foundational understanding, a more detailed explanation of how sources were selected and analyzed would enhance clarity. If primary data collection was involved, specifying sampling methods, data sources, and analytical techniques would improve the methodological rigor.
Validity & Reliability:
The research aims to determine key motivations for entrepreneurship; however, its validity hinges on the comprehensiveness of the literature reviewed. Without empirical validation or direct engagement with the student population, the reliability of findings may be limited. A mixed-methods approach incorporating surveys or interviews could strengthen the conclusions drawn.
Clarity and Structure:
The article presents a coherent argument, progressing logically from the problem statement to the study's purpose. However, certain aspects, such as the link between entrepreneurship education and informal influences, could be more explicitly articulated. Refining the structure to ensure smooth transitions between sections would enhance readability and impact.
Result Analysis:
The study offers valuable insights into entrepreneurial motivations but would benefit from a more in-depth discussion of how the identified factors compare with existing theories. A more critical engagement with the literature and potential counterarguments would further substantiate its conclusions.
