Zoodiversity (Zoodiversity)
Journal Descriptions
Zoodiversity publishes original research papers across nearly all fields of zoology, excluding strictly applied areas. Its scope includes fauna and systematics, ecology, ethology, descriptive and comparative morphology, physiology, paleozoology, and zoological aspects of nature conservancy. The journal serves as a vital platform for high-quality papers from authors worldwide, with a historical focus on the biodiversity of Central and Eastern Europe and adjacent regions. In addition to primary research, the journal includes supplemental sections such as book reviews, field notes, and chronicles of scientific information. It operates as a "Diamond" open-access journal, meaning there are no article processing charges (APCs) for authors. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process and must be submitted in English. The average time from submission to publication is approximately eight weeks.
