Journal Descriptions

Zdravniški vestnik (Slovenian Medical Journal), is an official journal of the Slovenian Medical Association and Slovenian Academy of Medical Science. It is published regularly ever since 1929. Zdravniški vestnik is a multidisciplinary professional medical journal with external peer review, aims to provide a scientific platform on which to promote excellence and advancement in the study and care of patients. The main aim of the journal is to publish high quality research results from different research fields of medicine, including research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, methods articles, and case reports/case series. Zdravniški vestnik does not charge authors any fee for submitting and publishing their manuscripts. It is published in printed form in the circulation of 4,000 samples as well as in a web format regularly bimonthly. Each year, one or two supplements may be published as well. Print version (ISSN: 1318-0347) of all article types is written either in Slovenian or English, while on line versions (ISSN: 1581-0224) are published in Slovenian and English or only in English.
