Journal Descriptions

Yustisia Journal of Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia. Established in 1992, it is one of the long-standing legal journals in Indonesia that contributes significantly to the development of legal scholarship and jurisprudence. The journal aims to provide a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to publish original research articles, conceptual studies, and legal analyses. The journal covers a broad spectrum of legal disciplines, including constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, administrative law, international law, and socio-legal studies. It also emphasizes contemporary legal issues such as legal reform, human rights, governance, and regulatory challenges in Indonesia and globally. Yustisia follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality and integrity. The journal is published twice a year and is available in both print and open-access online formats, increasing its accessibility to international researchers. It is indexed in several national and regional academic databases, including SINTA (Science and Technology Index) in Indonesia. Over the years, Yustisia has become an important scholarly outlet for legal discourse in Southeast Asia, bridging academic theory with practical legal developments and policy discussions.
